Zoom with a Moose

Zoom has proved to be an incredibly useful ally in learning about our internship. This week's work was mostly comprised of virtual meetings with previous interns. We learned a great deal about their progress with the study in past semesters as well as how to navigate the shared Google Drive. A large portion of our time was spent learning how Harbor Porpoises are identified and catalogued, which was incredibly interesting and it drew my attention away from the moose that was quickly becoming an emotional crutch throughout the long zoom meetings. Hearing about the previous interns struggles with photographing and cataloguing Harbor Porpoises definitely didn't soothe any concerns I'd had previously but their tips and lessons learned from their experiences most certainly made way into my notes.
